Recent Survey: Preferred Laser Color Choice

A recent survey conducted by the MedphysUSA list server group asked the question:  “If you were getting a new linac, which color laser system would you use?”  The overwhelming winner?  Green.

What was surprising is that “red” was not the number two choice.  More respondents chose “blue” as the second best option.

Cypra lasers are unique in that they provide dual-diode options, making the switch from one color to the other, seamless.  The patient’s skin color no longer has to restrict the clinician from aligning the patient with the lasers in the clearest possible fashion.
