RaySearch Labs
Founded in Stockholm in 2000, RaySearch Laboratories has become a global leader in radiation oncology software. Today, RaySearch’s software is used in over 1,100 clinics across 47 countries, providing advanced tools for treatment planning, clinical coordination, and data analytics. ROS and RaySearch Laboratories have formed a strategic partnership to expand access to radiation therapy across the globe by combining refurbished linear accelerators with advanced treatment software developed by RaySearch. The collaboration addresses a growing challenge where many fully functional linacs are decommissioned after 10 years of service, despite still being capable of delivering effective treatment.
In collaboration with The College of Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) and Linax Technologies, ROS supports a tiered linac training program designed to strengthen the pipeline of qualified service professionals in radiation oncology.
The College of Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) is an accredited College focused exclusively on delivering high quality, specialized, relevant, and impactful interactive distance learning and hybrid education and training to equip students to meet the evolving needs of the Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) industry.
Linax Technologies Ltd. is a medical technology company. Founded in 2019, Linax is known for its web-based medical linac simulator, Simac, an advanced training platform.
