Bob Thayer

Bob is a highly accomplished sales leader who thrives in developing solutions for his clients. Prior to joining ROS, Bob spent the last few decades working for the major diagnostic imaging OEMs, including GE Healthcare, Canon/Toshiba, Esaote, Philips, and a Siemens distributor in the U.S.

Bob has a demonstrated record of success in the various field sales roles he has held across the major diagnostic imaging modalities. He prides himself as an expert in navigating complex transactions, prioritizing value for the customer and win-win outcomes. His leadership style focuses on discipline, values, work ethic, creativity, and problem solving to drive results. His secret to long-term customer relationships is simply prioritizing client needs and following through on commitments.

Bob has been married to Janice for 43 years and has three children and three granddaughters, all of whom live in the Atlanta area. Once an avid runner and cyclist, he now does Tai Chi and walks. He loves to golf but loves work too much. He is a native of Indiana, and his daughter, grandfather and many friends are graduates of the University of Indiana. Needless to say, Bob celebrated IU’s NCAA football victory in 2026.

On a personal note, Bob loves his heavenly Father and follows Jesus. Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Industrial Management with a major in Industrial Engineering.
