ROS announces a “Total Solution Package” in association with Prowess and Acceletronics to help fight cancer around the globe.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, August 1, 2011. Radiology Oncology Systems, Inc., a leading reseller of radiation oncology and diagnostic imaging equipment, unveiled a new “Total Solution Package” at the 2011 joint meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP) here this week.
“The Total Solution Package” is a combination of a linear accelerator system, a treatment planning system, and an oncology information system, all key elements for treating cancer with radiation therapy. The package is being offered in combination with Acceletronics, Inc. and Prowess Inc. throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Greg Bare, Vice President of Radiology Oncology Systems, Inc, stated, “the new Total Solution Package” extends our relationship with Prowess and Acceletronics in a very positive way, and at the same time brings tremendous value to our customers, especially those seeking cost-effective solutions in our current economic climate.” He added, “ROS offers refurbished equipment solutions, including linear accelerators and CT scanners, and with a program like “Total Solution,” we will be able to help our customers at a whole new level. One phone call, one order, one project manager, and you get the complete package without the headaches of coordinating installations among different vendors.”
“We are making it easier than ever and more cost-effective than ever for radiation oncology practices to purchase a complete, integrated system of hardware and software” noted John Nguyen, President and CEO of Prowess, Inc.
Also present was Larry Day, COO of Acceletronics. “We are equally excited about the opportunity to work with Prowess and ROS on the Total Solution Package.” Now our customers can call one place and get all the major equipment and software components needed to start and operate a practice. It makes sense that we would all three come together to form this program.” Acceletronics is also celebrating its 30th year in providing equipment maintenance and repair services to the radiation oncology equipment community worldwide.
