Conventional simulation still plays a very important role in modern radiation therapy departments. For some facilities, simulators are a sound addition to a brachytherapy department and can provide added flexibility to every day external beam simulation needs. CONVENTIONAL SIMULATOR SERVICES
Even though the major manufactures have discontinued support for many of the systems, ROS maintains an extensive inventory of parts including:
- X-ray tubes
- Image intensifiers (Thompson, etc.)
- Generators (Fischer, CPI and Sedecal)
ROS offers many late-model conventional simulators, including some with CT based simulation. However, if you are looking to transition to a CT simulator, ROS can guide you through the entire process, including removal of your existing simulator, site planning for your new simulator, installation, and warranty.
